Part-Time Household Helper / Mother's Helper – Northcote, Auckland

We are a friendly family looking for a reliable and caring part-time household helper to assist with our morning routine, looking to start 16 November 2026. Location: Northcote, Auckland (North Shore) Hours: Ideally 10:00am–1:00pm and 4pm-6pm, flexible Days: Weekdays (Mon - Fri) Pay: $25/hr Start date: 16 November 2026 About our family: We have two young boys, aged 3 years and 4 months. Our older child attends daycare, so the role mainly involves household support and occasional care for our baby. Main duties: General housekeeping, tidying and cleaning Laundry, folding and organising Simple cooking, meal preparation and kitchen cleanup Occasional infant care, including bottle feeding, nappy changes and supervising the baby while Mum rests Helping keep the household running smoothly Ideal candidate: Reliable, trustworthy, gentle and organised Experienced in housekeeping and comfortable with young children Previous infant-care experience preferred Able to work independently Cooking skills would be a bonus, particularly Asian home-style cooking This is primarily a housekeeping role with some babysitting, not a full-time nanny position. We are looking for someone who can provide regular support, with the possibility of additional hours when Dad is away for work.
